Description

A Journal Lab Research Editor (RED) is an academic editor with extensive knowledge in his or her respective fields. Scholar Editing (SE) is Journal Lab’s primary editing service that focuses on ensuring no grammatical errors, including spelling, punctuation, and capitalization issues, making the tone more appropriate for a global academic audience, confirming the accuracy of the information presented, providing in-depth content critique, and even recalibrating the direction of the paper to accelerate manuscript publication. Our REDs’ main goal is to perform SE and heighten authors’ chances of publication by polishing their manuscripts to a global level.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide a thorough assessment of manuscripts, by section and as a whole, to be submitted to various publications 
  • Edit and format English manuscripts in adherence with Lexcode’s standards 
  • Contribute to manuscript improvement by writing detailed feedback regarding the soundness of the papers’ theoretical background, methodology, significance, and novelty with clear recommendations 
  • Distinguish relevant content and narrow manuscript foci 

Position Requirements: 

  • Achieved a master’s degree or higher in his or her respective field 
  • Edited documents or manuscripts at a professional level (Please provide samples.) 
  • Published at least two (2) articles in SCI/SCIE/SSCI-level academic journals (Please provide links or DOIs.) 
  • Has excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills 
  • Has full professional, native, or bilingual proficiency in the English language
